Work involved the full replacement of the Elementary Pod HVAC system and related interior and exterior architectural finish components to accommodate the work as well as an approximately 4,970 square foot classroom addition to the existing Middle/High School Area. Scope of work included installation of a new boiler and heat pump system with a new wheel and plate energy recovery system and related roof and architectural work. The classroom addition included the construction of four (4) new classrooms, a small production studio space, a corridor circulation space and storage and mechanical closets. Thermal and acoustical upgrades occurred in the center instructional spaces of the Elementary Pod, including new gypsum board upper walls with steel inserts through existing lower walls, repainting and plaster repair and lighting and fire protection to thermally separate the eight (8) spaces.
