The Project

This project consisted of the construction of a one-story 13,765 square foot building for use as a community space and adult education and training center in Liberty, KY. Described by Liberty Mayor Steve Sweeney as “the biggest project our community could do to impact people in Liberty and Casey County,” this building is a multi-use facility that includes classroom space for higher education classes and public use spaces for use by local organizations and community events. This project is located on a 2.2 acre site in the heart of downtown Liberty and utilized traditional construction methods such as a cast-in-place foundation system, brick façade, cold-formed framed roof trusses with metal decking, asphalt shingle and standing-seam metal roofing and a unique, one-of-a-king cupola that makes this building an instant downtown landmark.
