The Project

This project involved the construction of a new bus shelter located on Euclid Avenue. The glass panels featured a dollar bill motif along with a “piggy bank” image that was plasma cut from a sheet of steel plate. Patrick Morgan, LEED AP, designed the bus shelter, which was part of the Art in Motion smART Shelter Project financed by the federal Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) program and administered through the KY Office of Local Programs. The project was additionally backed by the Columbia Heights Neighborhood Association in partnership with Republic Bank.
