The Project

Renovation of the former St. Claire Studio included building additional soundproof broadcast booths, a new soundproof control room, revising the HVAC and lighting, removing existing soundproof glass and resetting it and reframing walls. Strict attention was paid to soundproofing standards via architectural details and wall assemblies throughout the entire renovation process. Scope of work also included asphalt work for the addition of more parking spaces, the installation of a new, 180-foot monopole radio tower and base and all exterior underground electrical and communications cabling to connect the monopole radio tower to WUKY’s interior control room.
