Josh Marrillia founded Marrillia Design and Construction in 2008. Growing up in a fourth-generation, 85-year-old, family-owned excavation company, Josh was immersed in the world of construction from a young age. This early exposure to the industry ignited his passion for building and engineering. After completing his education at St. Xavier High School, Josh went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky.

During the challenging economic climate at the time of founding his company, Josh steered Marrillia Design and Construction towards the public bid market. With a relentless commitment to delivering exceptional quality, adhering to schedules, managing budgets, and prioritizing safety, the team at Marrillia Design and Construction has become a well-established mid-sized general contractor in the state of Kentucky.

With annual revenues ranging from $50-60 million, the company has consistently achieved impressive results including six AGC of Kentucky Build Kentucky Awards. Beyond his professional achievements, Josh finds joy in his personal life. He cherishes quality time spent with his wife Christa and their two sons, Lincoln and Winston. Residing in Lexington, Kentucky, Josh actively engages in coaching his children’s baseball teams, fostering not only their athletic development but also valuable life skills such as teamwork and perseverance.

Ravin Marrs is Marrillia’s Vice President of Administrative Operations and Controller and a valued member of the executive leadership team.  A graduate of the University of Kentucky with diverse experience in the construction industry, Ravin has a keen eye for financial management and a passion for operational excellence.  Ravin provides guidance and expertise in the areas of human resources, benefits administration, payroll and financial reporting.  Under her direction, the company has experienced significant improvements in both financial efficiency and risk management.

Ravin’s commitment to excellence and ability to adapt to evolving market conditions have consistently positioned her as a trusted advisor to the Marrillia executive team and our client and subcontracting partners.  Ravin’s passion for community involvement is evident through her active participation in philanthropic initiatives, particularly the Shriners Medical Center Corporate Council. Ravin’s contributions have been instrumental in positioning Marrillia for sustained success, and her dedication to professionalism and integrity sets a high standard for the industry.

Ravin and her husband Brock live in Lexington with their two children Liam and Evelyn Grace.

His proactive leadership style fosters a cohesive and motivated team environment, promoting productivity and driving project success.
